AS FACULTY AT AN UPCOMING SEMINAR ON CONSTRUCTION LIEN LAW
IN MISSOURI.
On October 16, 2007 Roger W. Pecha will serve
as one of three speakers at a one day seminar on construction
lien law in Missouri. Attendee's of this seminar will
learn strategies for tackling lien issues for private projects
and bond issues for public projects. Owners will learn how to
protect property from unwarranted liens and defend them if they
arise. Contractors and suppliers will learn how to
efficiently collect payment for work performed or supplies
provided. And if faced with litigation, you'll know how to
succeed in the litigation and foreclosure of mechanic's liens.

SPEAK AT THE UPCOMING ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE MISSOURI
CHAPTER OF AMERICAN PLANNING SOCIETY.
Stephen L. Kling, Jr. will be giving a
presentation at the annual Missouri Planning Conference being
held November 7-9, 2007 at Cervantes Convention Center at
America's Center in St. Louis. He will address ethical
issues facing planners in land development and zoning matters.

ACTS AS MODERATOR FOR PUBLIC FORUM ON OLIVE BOULEVARD TDD
SHORTFALL AND CREVE COEUR DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT LAND USE
PLANNING.
On May 17, 2007 Stephen Kling acted as
moderator for an educational forum hosted by the Creve Coeur
Olivette Chamber of Commerce. The forum included a
background presentation by Mr. Kling and a question and answer
session regarding redevelopment proposals for downtown Creve
Coeur, the Olive Boulevard TDD shortfall, proposed tax abatement
and other public financing. Over 150 residents and
businesses filled the Drury Hotel Ballroom in Creve Coeur to
attend the forum.
